Role Purpose & Overview

This is a key supporting role in collecting, validating, and organising data from a variety of internal and external sources. The job holder will transform data from Salesforce, SAP Business ByDesign, and other internal systems into practical insights that support decision-making across EMEA.

Working primarily with Qlik Sense, SAP ByDesign, Excel, and basic SQL queries, the role helps maintain and improve the underlying data structures that ensure accurate and timely reporting. Responsibilities include reviewing and validating incoming data, improving data feeds, performing routine data manipulation, and contributing to database design activities. The role requires regular coordination with colleagues and third-party partners who supply source data, as well as the development of clear, dependable reports and dashboards that support the company’s operational and commercial needs.

This is a mid-level role suited to candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, ideally within sales, marketing, or commercial environments.

 

Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and maintain datasets from Qlik Sense, Salesforce and SAP ByDesign.
  • Produce regular dashboards and reports on revenue, pipeline, forecasting accuracy, product and regional performance.
  • Analyse customer trends, pricing, and profitability to support sales and marketing strategy.
  • Support marketing campaigns with performance measurement and ROI analysis.
  • Ensure high-quality data standards and resolve data inconsistencies across systems.
  • Automate standard reports using Qlik Sense, Excel Power Query, or similar tools.
  • Track configuration changes and maintain Inventory and POS Data
  • Create and maintain Qlik Sense security rules and custom roles.
  • Configure section access and data-level security.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and business case preparation with validated data.

 

Skills and Experience

Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data analytics, business, mathematics or similar.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or sales operations.
  • Skilled Qlik Sense administrator with strong experience managing, configuring, and optimizing Qlik Sense Enterprise environments in single-node and multi-node architectures.
  • Proficient in Salesforce reporting and data extraction.
  • Experience with SAP Business ByDesign or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Experience using Qlik Sense BI, and similar visualisation tool.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable
  • Experience in B2B electronics or technology sector.
  • Analysed Qlik logs to resolve issues and improve stability.
  • Knowledge of CRM–ERP data integration and data quality processes.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or Python for data manipulation.
  • Experience with sales forecasting and commercial data modelling.
  • Understanding of EMEA market structures and channel distribution.
