WOP – Walk on Plan is a company specialising in the visualisation of architectural plans for the real estate sector. WOP offers a full-scale, 1:1 projection of architectural building plans - up to 400 m² - directly onto the floor, allowing clients to physically walk through the layout as if it existed in real life.
To display the floor plans at full scale WOP needs multiple ultra bright, high-resolution Ceiling-Mounted Projectors. These projectors are precisely calibrated to align the digital floor plan to real-world dimensions.
When Walk on Plan undertook the challenging and ambitious task of reviewing constructor and potential customer drawings from AutoCAD and similar software solutions in real, life size, it needed a combination of high performing projectors to maximise impact and customer experience.
Deploying a combination of a fleet of 9 RICOH High End Laser Projectors, meant extremely large images could be produced, making it possible to project 300 inch images. The ability to project and reproduce close to actual colour, made it possible for Walk on Plan to meet their challenges of bringing designs from a software interface into physical, tangible output.
