Guangzhou Tunnel Museum in China is a themed museum dedicated to tunnels and underground engineering, exhibiting the history of Chinese tunnels. It showcases some of the most challenging tunnel constructions and cutting-edge building technologies.
The Guangzhou Tunnel Museum has a total exhibition area of about 4,430 square metres. Using 28 units of RICOH Laser Projectors, including High-end projectors, Short Throw projectors and Broad Use projectors, the museum provides an immersive, full-scale exhibition of the major events and highlights of the Chinese tunnels in each era. The major events and highlights are shown in a realistic projection, demonstrating the Chinese tunnel's constant innovation and pursuit of excellence.
The customer wanted to create full-scale exhibitions that could represent innovation. The Ricoh Laser Projectors allowed them to show dynamic high-quality contents on any kind of surface, including curved, tubular and projection mapping to objects.
The high-end projectors were also great at displaying very high contrast images in dark areas thanks to its DLP technology, and the short throw projectors were perfect for displaying interactive content.
